CHS Rooting for Former Colt in Super Bowl

The San Francisco 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game last Sunday.

They will now be advancing to Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 2.

Students and staff are especially excited for this year’s Super Bowl because one of their own will be taking part.
Kyle Juszczyk is a fullback on the San Francisco 49ers and a former 2009 graduate at Cloverleaf High School.

Senior Grant Knepp says, “I think it’s really cool that a former student here is going to the Super Bowl. I think it’s a great thing for the school and community.”

The Cloverleaf School District has declared Friday, Jan. 31 as “Kyle Juszczyk Day” to celebrate and show their support.

“We have a hometown boy that’s making it big,” says CHS associate principal Bart Randolph. “I think it’s an amazing thing we have a Cloverleaf kid in the world spotlight.”

There are specially made Juszczyk t-shirts for sale made by the Student Leadership Team available, and everyone will dress in gold and scarlet on Jan. 31 to celebrate and support Juszczyk.
