Fall is finally here, which comes with cold weather and pumpkin flavored drinks! There are many fun things to do in the Fall to help you get into the spirit of sweaters, Halloween and the oncoming winter.
One idea is visiting a pumpkin patch. Pumpkin patches are fun to do with the family. Pumpkins can help decorate the house and increase family time.
Most pumpkin patches also have fun activities for kids, as well as food stands and animals. Badgers Pumpkin Farm, which is located in West Salem, Ohio, is a local attraction. Many people seem to love the pumpkin patch.
One review said, ¨great place to pick pumpkins; best time ever.¨
Another idea to explore is a haunted house. There are many different haunted houses to choose from, and all with a variety of things to offer. A few local haunted houses include Slaughter House and Forest of Screams. These two seem to be in popular demand.
Sophomore Reese Swiney has been to both in recent years.
¨It’s really a fun place to go,” Swiney said. “I definitely look forward to going every year, and it’s definitely somewhere fun to go with friends and family.¨
Lastly, a fun, Fall annual event would be one of the Fall festivals. Fall festivals have a variety to do, such as hayrides, apple and pumpkin picking, petting zoos, and lots of fun Fall foods. Some close fall festivals include Rocktoberfest, which is located in Brunswick, and another one is Trunk or Treat, which is located in Wadsworth. Both of these seem to be in high demand.
¨It is a great family environment, that includes fun activities for both children and adults,” one advertisement read.
Fall doesn’t only mean cold weather, it brings fun events and spooky activities to get into the Fall spirit.
